What We Believe
The Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, we receive as the inspired word of God, complete and without error.

The Trinity, alluded to in the Old Testament and displayed in the New Testament, accurately describes God as being three equal persons united in one; these three persons are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ, existing eternally as God the Son, became a man, born of a virgin; He combined in one person deity and perfect humanity.

Though innocent, Jesus Christ was crucified and on His cross took the punishment for our sin; He shed His blood and died, thus completing once and for all the only sufficient sacrifice for sins. He arose from the dead after three days, and ascended back to heaven.

We are fallen creatures by nature, and every one of us has sinned. But all who receive Jesus as their Savior by faith are counted righteous by God. None of us could ever achieve this righteousness on our own; salvation is only by grace, through faith.

Following the ascension of Jesus, the Holy Spirit came to earth and lives in every one who has accepted the gospel of salvation. The Holy Spirit unites all believers into one body, the body of Christ.

Baptism and the Lord's Supper are the two ordinances we are instructed to practice as believers. Baptism publicly associates us with Christ on earth, and the Lord's Supper is a memorial of Him and His death for us.

The believer's body being the temple of the Holy Spirit, God desires us to live lives of moral purity. The Bible teaches that sexual relations are reserved for marriage, the uniting of one man and one woman.

Our ideal is that a shared love for Christ and His name should be what draws us as believers together. He ought to be our gathering Center, not traditions or denominations or particular doctrines.

Every believer has been given a role as a member in the body of Christ, and is responsible to use their gifts for the blessing of the assembly and sharing of the gospel, under the direction of Christ.

In the last days, Jesus Christ will call all believers, dead and alive, to join Him in heaven. This will be followed by a time of intense judgements on earth, after which Jesus will return to earth.
As the Messiah, He will establish His kingdom on earth, thus making good on all the Bible's promises to the nation of Israel. Following the kingdom, unbelievers will be consigned to eternal banishment from God's presence.
